Bucephalandra Skeleton King XL – Dark Achilles
Meet the king of all Buce. The Bucephalandra Skeleton King 'Dark Achilles' (also known as Bucephalandra kishii) is one of the most coveted collector plants in the aquascaping world — and our specimens are grown large, so you're getting a true XL plant with multiple leaves and an established rhizome ready to anchor and grow.
New leaves emerge a striking deep red to pink, slowly maturing into a rich, near-black charcoal with a subtle metallic sheen. The heavily embossed veining gives each leaf that iconic skeletal structure — bold, architectural, and unlike anything else in a planted tank.
Why Suksai Aquatic's XL Plants?
We grow our plants to a larger size before selling, so you skip the slow early phase and get a specimen that makes an immediate impact in your aquascape. Each plant is sold as a healthy, established rhizome cutting with 5+ leaves.
