⚠️ Important – Emersed Grown Plant

Our Bucephalandra is grown emersed (above water) under controlled conditions. This means the plant will go through a conversion period once placed in your aquarium. During this transition from emersed to submerged growth, leaf melt is normal and expected — existing leaves may yellow and die back as the plant adapts to underwater conditions.
Do not throw the plant away if this happens. The rhizome stores all the energy the plant needs and will push new, fully submerged leaves within a few weeks. Keep water parameters stable and avoid stressing the plant during this period.

Bucephalandra Skeleton King Round Leaf XL

The Bucephalandra Skeleton King 'Round Leaf' XL (also known as Green Achilles) is the rounder-leafed sibling of the iconic Skeleton King family. Where the Dark Achilles goes near-black, this variety keeps its rich, deep green — with the same dramatically raised skeletal veining that makes this line unmistakable in any aquascape.

Our XL specimens are grown to a generous size before leaving us, giving you an established rhizome with multiple leaves that makes an immediate statement in your tank.

Why Suksai Aquatic?

We grow our plants to a larger XL size before selling, so you skip the slow early phase and get a specimen that makes an immediate impact in your aquascape. Each plant is sold as a healthy, established rhizome cutting with 5+ leaves.
