Lubao — 30 days of natural grazing support
Lubao is a 30-day grazing support bag for freshwater shrimp tanks. It helps promote biofilm and beneficial bacterial activity, making it useful for daily shrimp care, tank startup, and short periods away from home. Suitable for both Caridina and Neocaridina shrimp, Lubao supports natural grazing between regular feedings but does not replace complete shrimp food.
Why shrimp keepers use Lubao
Lubao helps create a more active grazing environment by supporting biofilm development and ongoing supplemental nutrition. It is especially useful when setting up a tank, stabilising a shrimp system, or making sure shrimp have extra support while you are away.
How to use
Place the bag directly into the aquarium without rinsing or soaking. Temporary cloudiness may occur during the first 2–4 days and is normal. Avoid feeding for the first 1–2 days after adding Lubao. Replace the bag every 30 days.
Dosage guide
5 g is recommended for 25–40 L aquariums. 10 g is recommended for 50–80 L aquariums. Larger colonies may require a higher dose.
Important
Lubao is a supplemental support product. For best results, use it alongside your normal feeding routine, proper filtration, and good aeration.
